PRACTICE DRIVING (FREE DRIVE)

In GuidaTuPro, you can drive using gear lever, clutch pedal, steering wheel with 900 degrees rotation, doing it in realistic traffic situations, exercising with the “road system”, the traffic signs , road surface marking and traffic lights. You can adjust rear-view mirrors, use the GPS, hand brake and turn signals. You have also driving lessons, leaded by a virtual driving instructor.

Road law and violations

Surveying about violations and related sanctions are important characteristics of GuidaTuPro, but you can use the simulator also without them (just disabling it in the “Options” screen).
The simulator can survey about several kinds of violations: red traffic light, U-turn, wrong way, illegal passing, speed limit, seat belts, pedestrian crossing violation, stops and yielding right-of-way.

Many different road conditions

Road conditions are very realistic and urban scenarios, especially, reproduce a lot of different situations: crossways with or without cross lights (and with different kinds of traffic lights), reserved lanes, terrain variations, elevated railways, intersections, roundabouts, heavy-traffic roads, bends with limited vision, pedestrian and bike crossing. User drives freely in an environment full of life.

Realistic Driving

Vehicle movement is extremely realistic, with a full-physics simulation on tires grip, front-wheel or rear‑wheel traction, vehicle mass and weight, and its centre of mass. So it’s possible to have vehicle turnover, grip losing, collisions, spin-right-rounds.
You can use the clutch and the other pedals, gear lever and steering wheel just like in the real drive.

Other vehicles driven by complex artificial intelligence
In GuidaTuPro, traffic is simulated  in a very realistic way, thanks to artificial intelligence algorithms controlling vehicles. They are “automatons” and they move freely according to their own decisions: they change lanes, they curve and modify their speed. Also, acceleration and stop of other vehicles are perfectly realistic, and the simulation  follows physics laws.

Primary and side mirrors and GPS

You can activate primary and side mirrors, very important for a conscious driving and for parking simulation. Mirrors can be adjusted by using the mouse, the gear lever and the keyboard.
GPS will show you the city map, directions to follow, position of interesting elements (just like DESTINATION).

Clutch, Gear , Handbrake , Direction indicators

Drive controls also include:
- clutch, perfectly simulated, with “scraping” and engine shutting off when using wrong gear;
- gear shift, configurable as automatic, sequential or manual;
- hand brake;
- direction indicators
